It seemed so easy to just splash some watercolors around randomly, but of course this turned out way better in my head than actuality. I won't be touching paints for a while...I'll just make a digital mess on the computer next time.

Yea, watercolor can be really touchy. You have to wait for colors to dry before you can put more on unless you want them to mix. What a pain! I only did one involved work with watercolors, and the results have been horridly photographed for my gallery, LOL. Truly, it didn't turn out too bad. And neither did yours! I love how bright the colors are! He looks like he's having a lot of fun.
